I’m Stephanie. I create oil paintings of urban landscapes in California.
My most recent collection, “Urban Portals,” stems from the idea that aspects of ordinary city life — freeways, bridges, strip malls, abandoned lots, and more — can expand our imaginations and unlock extraordinary possibilities.
My inspirations include impressionism, surrealism, and science fiction.
Older projects on this site are from my college years, when I studied architecture and dabbled in scientific illustration.
I write code for a living.
